I was born in 1990 in Königstein am Taunus, Germany. From my early childhood I spent most of my time outside. By a lucky coincidence, my zoological mentor moved into the flat above me. From then on I learned even more about animals and especially about birds.
I started taking pictures at age 18 with a little bridge camera, but learned very fast that this hardware will definitely have it’s end. Thats when the plan was born to save money for something better (Canon 40D, followed by a Canon 7D and my current used camera Canon R5 and R6).
My Sigma 150-600 works well and I try to make the best out of it. Nevertheless I have bought the Canon lens 600mm Version II in the meantime and am very satisfied so far.
I’m birding (watching birds) and take pictures mainly in Germany and Europe, but some holiday bring me even further into the world.
