Winter is still present

Although it is partly too warm in the highlands in the Black Forest for the season, we still have some snow. I was looking for a big „chicken“.

The „big one“ of the grouse family is sadly on the red list in Germany, not least cause of habitat decreases. Especially in the mating season the male is sometimes extremely aggressive and it is hunting you out of „his“ area.
